Individual Giving
Imagine seeing just half the show. That’s what would happen without your individual donations. As a not-for-profit arts organization, your ticket or subscription covers only 50% of our actual costs—your gift to the Annual Fund makes up the rest. Only with your support can we produce theatre in your backyard, all at a reasonable cost and offering discounts to our under-30's and seniors.

Your contribution also allows Cinnabar to serve diverse members of our community through our Young Rep program, and offer free matinee's to students all over Sonoma County. In appreciation of your gift, we thank you with a host of benefits designed to take you backstage and closer to the art you see onstage. Corporate Sponsorship
Become a Sponsor of Cinnabar Theater and your organization will have the opportunity to contribute to Cinnabar’s artistic and educational outreach programs while enhancing your company's involvement in the community and building your visibility among targeted audiences. Our customized partnership program can help add value to your business through a variety of acknowledgment and marketing opportunities. We'd be happy to discuss various options for entertaining clients and employees.

Cinnabar’s special events are a key part of our fundraising efforts. We choose to put on community events because we are invested in our community. We hope you find one or two or all of the events something you can plan for:

Annual Matching Grants
Cinnabar does two annual Matching Grants every year. Your donation will double if you give to either the Chili Cook-off Match in April courtesy of Marc and Claire Perlman from the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation or the Mabie Match in June, courtesy of William and Inez Mabie . Both of these matching grants support our scholarship program for our Young Rep Program, where no child is ever turned away do to finances. Gifts of Stock
A transfer of stock may be made directly to Cinnabar Theater through Moe Jacobson, our Board Member and Stock Broker. We kindly ask that you notify Cinnabar of your gift so that we may acknowledge it appropriately and ensure the correct transfer of funds.

Matching Gifts
Many companies offer a matching gift program for their employees which can double, or even triple, your initial contribution. These programs are set up to allow employees to choose how their employer should direct its charitable giving within the community. Often, retired employees, directors and spouses are also eligible to participate in the program. Having your gift matched is simple. Visit your human resources office to retrieve a matching gift form. Complete it, and send it along with your gift to Cinnabar Theater. We will notify your company of your contribution, and you can begin enjoying the benefits of a higher level of giving.

Purchase a loan or Refinance a Loan
through Wells Fargo's "Sharing Advantage program. If you purchase a loan or refinance your loan with Wells Fargo, they will make a $300 contribution to Cinnabar Theater. Please click here for more details.

You love theatre. And when you think about your best theatre experiences, you think of Cinnabar Theater. You want to make sure that the enjoyment and enrichment you've experienced is available to your kids and community for generations to come. You can do it by including the Cinnabar in your estate plans or making a gift in other ways.

Capital Improvement Campaign
Your gift to the Capital Improvement Campaign will support needed maintenance to our Theater and important technical upgrades to our equipment. Corporate logos may be included by special arrangement. Here are a few things that Cinnabar is raising money for:

Risers for additional seating with increased comfort: DONATION NEED: $4,294
We are missing an opportunity to serve more of our public because we do not have the option of providing raised seating on one side of our theater. Cinnabar Theater continues to produce quality art and arts education, and happily, our community responds. Audience for both our Young Rep and professional programs are nearing capacity. With the additional seating these risers would provide, we can increase our seating capacity by up to 39%. Increased seating translates to revenue, without losing the intimacy that is Cinnabar’s stock in trade.

High quality LCD Projection System: DONATION NEED: $3,000
This is both an artistic need and money saver for future productions. More and more productions are requiring multi-media and we currently borrow, rent or can't supply our set or lighting designers with this option. Does it save us money? Yes. Does it elevate our designs and our production values? Absolutely. Will it further increase the quality of Cinnabar’s productions? Undoubtedly.

Support Cinnabar programs by signing up for eScrip and then go shopping at a participating local merchant. Logon to escrip.com and securely register your debit and/or credit card(s) and designate Cinnabar as your beneficiary. Already signed up? You can split your contribution between groups.

Wish List for In-Kind Gifts
Cinnabar accepts in-kind donations of products and gently used equipment for use on stage and behind the scenes in our administrative offices and scene shop.
