SHARE FOREVER

“Cinnabar doesn’t exist anywhere else. It’s a really peculiar, wonderful, irreplaceable institution that could only come out of Petaluma.”
—Dana Gioia
Former NEA Chair

Making a gift through your estate is a great way to express your passion for the arts and Cinnabar Theater. It can cost little or nothing now, may help reduce a tax burden on your family later, and will help artistic excellence flourish in Sonoma County forever.

MARVIN KLEBE AND CINNABAR THEATER
In the summer of 1970, Marvin and Jan Klebe bought the vintage 1908 two-room Cinnabar School. An international opera singer, Marvin had become disenchanted with the grand opera scene. So he turned his hand to carpentry and transformed the old building into a theater. Klebe’s goal was to create a performance space for artists of many disciplines to join him in collaboration, exploration and artistic expression.

THE MARVIN KLEBE LEGACY SOCIETY
Marvin died in May 1999. But his legacy, Cinnabar Theater, lives on. Members of the Marvin Klebe Legacy Society are dedicated supporters who have included Cinnabar Theater in their estate plans. Society members share a vision to make great theater their legacy. Their gifts will live on forever as part of Cinnabar Theater’s endowment, and as an expression of their deepest values.

If you have made a gift from your estate, please contact us, so that we may acknowledge your generous philanthropy. Marvin Klebe Legacy Society members are invited to be our guests at our annual Marvin Klebe Legacy Society celebration. With your permission, we will list you as a member of the Society to encourage others to follow in your footsteps.
