Alan Silow*Alan Silow has been Executive Director of the Santa Rosa Symphony since July of 2002. During his tenure, the Symphony has returned to a fiscally sound basis that has produced surpluses in both operations and endowment. As the Symphony celebrates its 85th Season and Cinnabar celebrates its 40th, Alan will explore the key elements that ensure longevity in the arts: how do we make art in a treacherous economy, who will make it, what does it look and sound like, and how do we keep it alive and thriving?
