Hamilton Tower at Oliver Ranch

The Pacific Mozart Ensemble in the Hamilton Tower at Oliver Ranch
Post-Concert Reception at
Terroirs Artisan Wines

Nestled in the heart of Sonoma Country, the 100-acre Oliver Ranch in Alexander Valley (website) is one of the country’s premiere reserves for site-specific art. For over 20 years, Steven and Nancy Oliver have commissioned 18 works that rise up over the rolling hills of the ranch’s landscape. As lifelong arts patrons, Steven and Nancy Oliver see the ranch as a model for philanthropy and a way to nurture the growth and development of artists. Artists work with the Oliver’s for a more “earthy experience” often forging close and meaningful relationships with the family while in residence at the ranch. The Oliver Ranch is not open to the public and tours are donated for the benefit of non-profit organizations.

About the Concert

About the Concert
For its 30th anniversary, Stephen Oliver has commissioned two site-specific pieces for the tower by noted Bay Area composers Amy X Neuberg and Sanford Dole and has hired The Pacific Mozart Ensemble (Website) to perform it. The audience will experience the music while seated or standing on a double helix staircase that extends to the top of the 80-foot performance structure.
