In the middle of a heat wave in 1930’s Texas, Lizzie Curry faces the prospect of becoming a hopeless old maid. But when a charismatic rainmaker named Starbuck enters the town, Lizzie’s world is turned upside down. Based on N. Richard Nash’s play The Rainmaker, the musical version includes gorgeous ballads and raucous ensemble numbers.
