Clark Taylor, a comic storyteller who has not only
been making ‘em laugh for over two decades, but is trying to make a
difference as well. He is the writer/producer of the upcoming environmental

That Crack Built.”
Dave Pokorny, who made his living as a stand-up, was approached by board members of Cinnabar
Theater after they saw an excerpt of his solo play, “Based on a True
Story”, and asked if he’d like to do something in Petaluma.
He jumped at the chance to bring some humor to town and came up with, “Comics Stripped.”

“Stripped is more of a theater piece than a
stand-up show.” Pokorny said, “I like to think of it as
kind of an homage to the NPR program ‘This American Life.’
Perhaps, This American Stand-up Life, where we have a theme for
the evening and the comics tell stories based on that theme.” What Drives You? is the theme
of this Intimate Evening, which is also a fundraiser for Cinnabar a non-profit
theater that has been bringing quality live entertainment to Petaluma for over
30 years. “With the success of the first, ‘Comics
Stripped’ back in May we hope to raise a lot of money for the theater and
it’s children’s program,” Pokorny added.
