Voted the #1 Street Performer in San Francisco, Ken has headlined comedy clubs and theaters all over the world, and even performed for Queen Elizabeth II of England. He has worked with such notables as Jay Leno, Harry Anderson, Red Skelton, Ellen DeGeneres, Dennis Miller, Howie Mandel, and Garry Shandling. He’s been seen on The Late Show, A & E’s Comedy On The Road, Moonlighting, Nash Bridges and various PBS programs including hosting the show Video Field Trips. “...his imaginative and dazzling act is one you’ll never forget!” The Rivereens The Rivereens is a band of three musicians steeped in several streams of American music - the blues, jazz, folk, blue grass and a little rock and roll. The three musicians are also artists. Tracy Bigelow-Grisman plays bass and guitar and sings. Tracy's interest in swing, country blues and old time music, mostly from the 1920s and 1940s, started when she was a teenager. She studied Django Reinhart's jazz with Peter Toyne. She played rhythm guitar on Peter's recording "Early Jazz Now". She started playing stand up bass at jam sessions with her husband David Grisman. Tracy's oil painting portraits of many of the music greats who have influenced her currently are showing at the Riverfront Art Gallery. She started playing in the Rivereens with Henry White at the Riverfront Art Gallery in Petaluma where they are both members. For the last year they've played at the artist receptions at the gallery, frequently joined by David on the mandolin. Henry White on harmonica and vocals likewise started playing the blues when he was a teenager. He took up the harmonica to play along with some guitarist friends. He came under the spell of the Chicago blues harmonica greats like James Cotton and Little Walter. The rock 'n roll and folk of the late sixties joined the blues and jugband music in his repertoire. His oil paintings include the California landscapes that surround us as well as still lifes, often with musical connections, and portraits. Henry is a member of the Riverfront Art Gallery where his work is currently on display. Steve Della Maggiora has recently joined the band playing guitar and bass. We may get him to play his accordion when the coast is clear. Steve is well known around the Northbay as a musical team player and soloist who lends a hand to many groups. He's versed in many forms of music and that old timey swing that the Rivereens favor is his forte. Steve is also an artist - muralist, realistic caricaturist, portraitist and landscape painter. Most Petalumans have seen his wonderful mural of historical Petaluma at Petaluma Blvd. and Washington Street.
