Volunteer of the Month - November
Barton was the patient, supportive and tireless fight choreographer for The Consul. Also, as president of the Petaluma Chapter of Realtors, he garnered invaluable support for the Taste of Petaluma and the Great Petaluma Chili Cook-off.
Volunteer of the Month - October
Mike Orton was “Johnny on the spot” during the production period for The Consul. Anytime anything at all broke (and, for some reason, a LOT did break during this show), Mike was the one who fixed it.
Volunteer of the Month - September
Gilbert Eldredge is one of those quiet guys who miraculously appear whenever a brainy fellow is needed to tame something electronic or electrical. He has saved Cinnabar on so many occasions...
Volunteer of the Month – August
Denise Hewitt is always ready to lend a hand. She has worked backstage, in the lobby and in the costume shop. She also single-handedly manages the tile painting workshops for the Great Wall of Children...
Volunteer of the Month - August
Always cheerful and unbelievably organized, Barbara Creamer has served as a Parent Guild Member, coordinating both the Tailor of Gloucester Reception and Senior Recognition/Reunion
Volunteer of the Month – July
Marsha Godfrey completely redesigned our programs (don’t they look great?) and refashioned our logo, transforming it from so-so to outstanding
Volunteer for June 2007
Jeff Dooley is the tireless videographer for Cinnabar Opera, Cinnabar ETC and Cinnabar Young Rep. And he doesn’t just point and shoot. With Jeff Dooley, each show is carefully edited and produced in order to be enjoyed again and again. |
Volunteers for April 2007
The volunteers that worked at the Cinnabar on National Rebuilding Day 2007. Unless you have been a recipient or participated in a “Rebuilding Petaluma” project, you probably don’t know what a wonder they carry out on that day. |
Volunteer for March 2007
Jerrie Patterson. Year after year, Jerrie has donated her prodigious talent and energy to the creation of the fantastical, beautiful, beguiling awards given out to the lucky winners at the Annual Great Petaluma Chili Cook-off, Salsa and Beer Tasting benefiting the Youth Program at Cinnabar. |
Volunteer for January 2007
Lisa Eldredge has been slavishly moving boxes and reorganizing “fabric, frills and furbelows,” (the name of her 2004 costume installation curated by Petaluma Arts Council. It is an enormous job and, being a slightly warped person, she actually seems to enjoy it! Thank you, Lisa!! |
Volunteer for December 2006
Joe Elwick is at Cinnabar almost every day, working, working, working. He builds sets, hangs lights, hangs curtains, paints…you name it. And probably most important to the staff at Cinnabar: he keeps Production Manager Sharlyn Klein in a good mood! (And, aside from all the hard work, we just plain like him!) |
Volunteer for Novmber 2006
Anthy O'Brien. As a kind of “sergeant at arms” for Taste Of Petaluma leaders Laura Sunday and Trudee Herman, Anthy was everywhere that day, coordinating the volunteers and making sure everyone was where they should be, at the right time and with the necessary materials. |
Volunteer for October 2006
Emily Roeder, along with Jean Stokes and Mary Poe, helped immeasurably in the office by copying music (a miserable job), organizing talent files, stage managing auditions and being generally right on the job whenever needed. Thank you, Emily! |
| Dylan Cooper |
Co-Volunteers for August 2006
Dylan Cooper and Kailey Hewitt are
Co-Volunteers of the Month of August because they have both been Kailey was the volunteers assistant for the children’s camps this past summer at Camp Cinnabar. |
Volunteer for July 2006
Sindre Horsby has willingly, even happily, assayed some of the most miserable jobs that we could throw at him. He copied musical scores, stuffed envelopes, hand-wrote hundreds of addresses…you name it. |
Volunteer for June 2006
Ethan Burrell took it upon himself to stage a raffle at this year’s Great Petaluma Chili Cookoff, Salsa and Beer Tasting. He made his own sign and went from person to person selling raffle tickets for the chance to win a dinner for two at the fabulous Dempsey’s Restaurant and Brewery. He thought it up, organized it and executed it all on his own and earned an extra $49 for Cinnabar Young Rep. |
Volunteer for May 2006
Jerry Ludwig: Of all the volunteers who helped to make the Chili Cook-off the huge success it was, Jerry had, by far, the most disgusting job... |
Volunteer for April 2006
Alice Staller has been a faithful Cinnabar volunteer for more years than either Alice or Elly can remember! She has helped with concessions, house management, New Year’s Eve parties…you name it, Alice has done it. |
Volunteer for March 2006
Val Richman has been a tireless volunteer at Cinnabar for years, and has worn many volunteer hats including that of former Parent Guild President. However, we honor her this month for her tremendous organization and enthusiasm as the Volunteer (and sometime Entertainment) Coordinator for the Great Petaluma Chili Cook-off |
Volunteer for February 2006
Whenever needed, Trudee Herman volunteers to work the lobby or backstage for performances, and for a number of years has been the Beverage/Supply Coordinator for the Great Petaluma Chili Cook-off (a huge job!) which benefits the Youth Program |

It is due to Michael’s exceptional generosity
that we have been able to continue to have our
wonderful, colorful banners in front of Cinnabar
and on Petaluma Blvd. |
