THE AUDITION CLASS

What’s an audition and how do I prepare for one?

Auditioning can be an intimidating ordeal. This informative and fun filled class will use theater activities and games to demystify all aspects of the audition process and set you up for success. This class will include information regarding song choice and monologue selection, skill building and technique and info concerning resumes, school applications, and headshots. Whether you are getting ready to audition for a Cinnabar show, a performing arts high school or a Broadway spectacle this class will make your next audition a resounding success, perfect for first time auditionees as well as seasoned veterans as we will suit the class to each students needs. At the end of this 10 class session students will show what they have learned for parents and family in a small Share-formance.

  • Dates: February 6 –  April 10
  • Day/Time: Mondays, 3:30 – 5:30 pm
  • Ages: Best enjoyed by children 9 – 14 years old
  • Tuition: $200

UNDER THE SEA: Songs and scenes from “The Little Mermaid”

In this hands-on, fun-filled class students will learn select songs and scenes from the Broadway musical “The Little Mermaid.” Students will learn the story of this family-friendly musical and what makes it so special, then jump in with both feet acting out scenes and songs. This class will focus on theater fundamentals, learning the basics of acting, singing, and movement. No experience is necessary as this is the perfect class for beginners as well as those with experience. At the end of this 10-class session students will show what they have learned for parents and family in a small Share-formance.

  • Dates: February 8 –  April 12
  • Day/Time: Wednesdays, 3:30 – 5:30 pm
  • Ages: Best enjoyed by children 5 – 9 years old
  • Tuition: $200
