One-Week Summer Camps

Join us for these exciting one week camps.

Each camp will have a different theme and culminate in a “share-formance” for family and friends. All camps will focus on theater and children will gain performing arts skills including:

  • Storytelling
  • Using movement and voice to create a character
  • Character relationships and biographies
  • Projection and presentation
  • Theater terminology

MYSTERY THEATER

Was it Mr. Green in the Conservatory, with the lead pipe?  In this camp we will create a mystery that plays out in five days. Whether you fancy yourself a detective or the secretly evil butler this camp will fill you with more fun than frights as students will learn basic theater skills. Watch out for that trap door!

HARRY POTTER IN PETALUMA

Inspired by the stories of the boy wizard and his magical journey, students will create an original story about the world of Hogwarts. Students will write, design and craft an original character using the Harry Potter stories as reference. No theatrical experience is necessary but to get the most out of this class student should be familiar with the Harry Potter books as we will be using them as a jumping off point into our magical world. Dementors need not enroll.

DISNEY DAYS

Using the songs and characters that we all love from Disney movies and Broadway musicals students will jump in with both feet as we learn to sing, move and act with joy and confidence. In this fun-filled week we will use classic as well as modern Disney songs and scenes to grow and strengthen basic theater skills.

  • Ages: Entering grades 1 – 6

SCHOOL OF ROCK

Do you play a mean air guitar and love to rock out to tunes on the radio? Everybody’s a start in this camp as we bring out our inner rock god. Using pop songs and scenes we will focus on creating a character worthy of a stadium tour. No band or musical experience is necessary our imagination will take center stage. Rock on!

  • Ages: Entering grades 1 – 6
