Taught by master percussionist MIRZA KOPELMAN, this one hour Afro-Brazilian master class will focus on the dynamic hand drum from BAHIA, BRAZIL known as the TIMBAL as well as SURDOS, REPINIQUE, and other percussion. Learn authentic Afro-Brazilian rhythms and chants such as AFOXES, SAMBAS, and IJEXAS. This is exciting, high energy African influenced drumming so be prepared for a workout. All ages and skill levels are welcome! ALL DRUMS WILL BE PROVIDED!!
