Story: For the third year, Cinnabar Young Rep is pleased to present the delightful operetta, The Tailor of Gloucester! The story revolves around a kindly old tailor who lovingly cares for the children and animals of the neighborhood, sharing what little he has with an open heart. Although the tailor lives in poverty, he is presented with the opportunity to make his fortune when the Mayor of Gloucester commissions him to make a special red coat for his Christmas wedding. But alas! The poor tailor falls ill and is unable to complete the task. Will the mice and children come to his rescue? And what about his petulant pet, the scurrilous Simpkin? With singing mice, giant teacups and more than a little Christmas spirit, this is one holiday show you and your young ones cannot miss!
