Chris Pinney, Cinnabar Board Member and Fundraiser

Chris' latest triumph was International Nosh Night, the grand opening of the Petaluma Summer Music Festival.  Prior to that, she decorated the theater for our Afternoon of Wine and Roses.  Everyone commented on the transformation of the space.

Here's Chris in her own words:

“I moved to Petaluma in 1991.  I have a background in theater and singing and soon thereafter joined Petaluma Sings Women's Chorus.  The Cinnabar Theater came looking for chorus members for their operas, and I was happy to volunteer.  When approached to join the Board of Directors of Cinnabar to represent the chorus, I agreed and have served on the board for almost three years now.

In addition to performing in the operas, I've costumed three shows and have worked on numerous fundraisers.  With a friend, I created the Starry Starry Night fundraiser last November and plan to do it again this year.

Working and playing with the creative Cinnabar family is great fun and very satisfying.”
