Don O'Brien was elected volunteer of the month for August. Don donated time, materials, and labor (his entire crew!) for one day of painting. As a specialist in repainting older buildings, Don was the perfect person for the job.

The O'Briens have been season ticket-holders for many years, and their daughter (Megan) was involved in Cinnabar's Young Rep programs, so Don was already a big Cinnabar fan. However, we have Don's wife (Anthy) to thank for his help - she volunteered him! "It was great getting to know Aloysha," Don said. "What a great facility Cinnabar has."

Don's company, O'Brien Painting, is particularly known for one-on-one service to West Side residential and commercial property owners repainting older buildings. They are much in demand on Petaluma's East Side as well. "There are a lot of special issues with older buildings," Don told me.
