Why Volunteer of the Month?
Marsha completely redesigned our programs (don’t they look great?) and refashioned our logo, transforming it from so-so to outstanding. We appreciate her donating her exceptional skill to Cinnabar!

About Marsha
Marsha Godfrey grew up in the Chicago suburbs where she worked in various aspects of the printing industry–from design and typesetting through prepress planning and stripping to sales and service. “In 1979 I moved to Petaluma and was snatched from the bliss of unemployment by my next-door neighbor to work for his in-house ad department and start a magazine. Eighteen months later, wanting to start a family, I went out on my own and gradually, as my son grew, built up my business so that I was as busy as I wanted to be. For the past 25 years I have been designing and producing journals, books, brochures, and corporate identity packages. About 20 years ago I joined the computer generation and because of my background in traditional printing have always been able to communicate with printers and service bureaus to get the job done easily, well and on time. My son (of whom I am most proud), is finishing college and is my mentor for anything technical in the computer realm. Ken, my husband of 27 years and I are doing more traveling now, and of course, our friends are our treasures.”

Marsha enjoys tennis and reading and recently took up the saxophone. “I am looking for a group of people who wouldn’t mind having a rank beginner sit in with them because I don’t like playing by myself.”
 
Involvement with Cinnabar 
Marsha was introduced to Cinnabar when she came to a few shows with Don and Anthy O’Brien, “because they talked up the experience so much.” Her son, at one time, was a Cinnabar kid who performed in a Young Rep production of Peter Pan.
