Marcy
Telles, creator of Cinnabar's first interactive
dinner theater event, American Op Star
Marcy Telles is the March Volunteer of the
Month. Marcy was chosen because of her work in
creating Cinnabar's first interactive dinner theater
event, American Op Star. She wrote it, acted in
it, produced it, and organized every detail to
give us two very funny and enjoyable evenings which
raised money for Cinnabar's opera program. Marcy
has previously written a number of shows for Cinnabar's
kids' program, including the Snow Queen and Wonderful
Life, and two opera-in-the-schools librettos: Brementown
Musicians and Jack and the Beanstalk. She also
sings in the opera chorus. She is pictured here
in her memorable La Traviata chorus part --Drunk
Lady with Big Hair. |
