Laura Sunday becomes a two-time Volunteer of the Month for May 2004 and 2005.

The first Sunday in May is the Great Petaluma Chili Cook-off, Salsa and Beer Tasting which has become Cinnabar's largest fundraiser and raises the most raucous of good times for the community. This years event almost doubled our previous best year, netting out at $35,000 for the children's program at Cinnabar Theater. We have never had such a great time raising needed funds for the kids. We are happy to repay our "Chili Empress" by giving her a month she can call her own.
