Barton Smith
Volunteer of the Month – November
Why Volunteer of the Month?
Barton was the patient, supportive and tireless fight choreographer for The Consul. Also, as president of the Petaluma Chapter of Realtors, he garnered invaluable support for the Taste of Petaluma and the Great Petaluma Chili Cook-off. Thank you, Barton!
About Barton
Barton Smith was born in Brunswick, Maine. As a “Navy brat” he grew up all over the USA, finishing his high school years in Alameda. He received his BA in Theater from UCLA and pursued a career as an actor and stunt man. He is, with his wife Kirsten, a proud parent of two beautiful girls, Simone and Ella Rae. (Apparently taking after Dad, Simone is currently enrolled in the Young Rep Musical Theater class.)
Barton is currently a Commercial/Investment Real Estate Agent with Century 21, Bundesen Commercial Division. He is active in the community and enjoys horseback riding.
Barton and Cinnabar
Mr. Smith first became interested in Cinnabar when he met Laura Sunday and Sheri Lee Miller while they were promoting the Chili Cook-Off fundraiser through the Petaluma Chapter of REALTORS® .
“I have always desired to get up to Cinnabar and see a production (probably staying away ‘cause I knew I’d fall in love with theater again). I ran out of excuses when I was invited to see a dress rehearsal of Enchanted April.
“Involvement for my family has provided another layer of togetherness, conversation, bonding, and singing around the house!”
