Debbie
Buck's first experience with Cinnabar Theater was
5 years ago when her oldest daughter was cast in
her first show, "A Swallow's Tale".
She had such a fantastic experience and has continued
to learn and grow over the years at Cinnabar. As
she continued to be involved in the youth programs,
Debbie also became involved. It was "baby steps"
at first, with some backstage and lobby help. She
later worked closely with Lisa Eldredge and Denise
Hewitt costuming "It's A Wonderful Life".
She continues to enjoy helping out in any way she
can with the youth productions, be it helping to
construct wings or sewing buttons and snaps on costumes.
The kids are great and she enjoys watching these
amazing productions take shape! Recently she took
on the enormous challenge of helping the Parent Guild
once again become an active organization at Cinnabar,
and with the help of some creative, energetic parents,
she knows that we are going to be successful!
Debbie was born and raised in New Hampshire, and
moved to California only 8 years ago with her husband
and three children: Kaitlyn 15, Kylie 13, and Corey
10. She's been very active over the years in her
children's schools and the community. In addition
to helping out at the theater, she's currently
the Co-Director of the Petaluma Kickin' Chicken
Soccerfest, a class III soccer tournament, manager
of a competitive soccer team, a Site Council member
at Sonoma Mountain Elementary School, and an active
member of Project Grad at Casa Grande High School.
In her spare time, she works part time as an orthopedic
physical therapist and trains as a black belt in
Tae Kwon Do! Her happiest moments are the times
she spends with her wonderful family! |
